August 18,the temp.remote censor behind me reads 93...It is really too hot to do anything (atleast in my eyes it is) but that's what your dealt when you live down here...
August 19, earlier this morning,at 12:52a.m. (that's right,a.m.) I watched a rocket launch from my driveway here in Melbourne!...Nice liftoff,must've shined up half the sky,then went back in and went to bed!...Got up about 8:45,already in the upper 80's (ya know,some Floridians actually see that as cool weather!),turned on the computer and noticed that the U.S. is way ahead in the medal count,like 44 medals in all,I can not ever remember us being so far ahead !!...(summer or winter)

The 80's were a good time,things were simpler none of these new gadgets that are on the market now,of course some of the  people you knew back then,well,you still know now,and the same thing goes for what you did back then too...Although you may have picked up some knew things along the way,maybe learned a knew language,not because you had too but because you wanted too...Met a few new people...I remember this one restaurant not far from our house it was named 'Tiffany's' I thought it would be kinda neat to wake-up early and ride my bike there and have breakfast, (like the movie, "Breakfast at Tiffany's" lol ) but I never could get up and moving that early!...My next door neighbor moved in,well,next door to me around '78-ish,and I  moved out around 1985...We did lots of stuff...Walked up to the beach to check it out,sometimes we took the surf rods and we'd go fishing up the beach or go the other way and go fish on the pier in the river...Like I said,later in '85 we moved away up to Missouri,sure we kept in touch for some time, until  '93 I suppose...

                       Yes,the 1980's was a good time!!!

Well the temp.thing behind me reads 92,it got up too 93 today,but there was a nice little breeze out so I went out and cleaned up the car-port!...Took me alittle over an hour,prolly lost about 3 lbs,luckily these past few months it did not go up over 95,except however for one day when it reached 100 degrees out....My neighbors just moved out a few days ago...They gave away alot of furniture,but they did rent a U-Haul trailer,but it was just big enough for a bedroom though...They left afew beds behind and they gave away alot of stuff to a thrift shop,had a truck come around and pick it up...Seen the owner next door today,went over and talked to him,told him that I'd be happy to help pick up some off the branches he has laying around,..(he was cuttin down overgrown branches and just kinda sprucing up the yard alittle)

It's 92* as I look at my thermometer,just the  other day it said 100!...I couldn't believe it,I have the sensor hanging in some bushes.not to shaded and not to open,so at no time during the day can the direct sunlight get to it (except maybe early in the morning when I'm not up yet)...Haven't been going anywhere because it's been so hot,ya walk 10 ft. down the driveway and your sweatin bullets...Had a pretty nice 4th of July,went over to some friends house,had some hamburgers and hot dogs,only thing though is,well,all the time I was growing up,people would maybe shoot fireworks off and maybe stop on the 5th or even the 6th,last night was the 10 and people are still shooting these things off(which is fine with me)!...

(6/21/2016)86 degrees here,well I suppose that's better than 90,but then again it's 12:oo in the afternoon!...I have one of those remote thermometer,the kind that you can buy from a 'Bass Pro Shop'or 'Dick's Sporting Goods'or I'm sure just about any sporting goods store...Just a few days ago the cable company shut off our cable package so we had no phone,internet or t.v. but that's fine cause we are going with another company!...(6/22/2016)Well today we got our internet and the telephone hooked up!...(whewwww)It's nice to breath again,a few days ago we got cable!...Now we have to give our close friends and Fam.the new #,luckily it's not that many people...

 Today we all went fishing,we went to a place called,"Castaways Point Park"...Very nice,historical park,long boardwalk,picnic tables and benches and info.along the walk...Just a nice place to spend the day!!...

 Today is my Mom's Birthday!!...First we all took a ride and sat down by the water,not the same place as yesterday,this was another place.Just off the Ave.where all the shops are,you can sit by the water,where the river meets the fresh water of "Crane Creek"...We saw otters/schools of catfish and lots of pigions!...(It was the'Crane Creek Promonade')...We stayed for about an hour then went back to the house,I guess about 5:30 we ordered Chinese,a friend of ours came over...We all had a pretty good day!..

Sittin here,watching the birds on my bird feeder here!..Yesterday,this squirrel decided to run up the pole,so he succeeded...(I guess the Vaseline .that I smeared up'n'down the pole wore off!)I thought well,have at it,enjoy it while it's there....(it turns out,there was some vaseline left over)...Ya know,you can sit here and watch these little squirrels all day!!...He'd go up the pole,slide down afew inches then go up again and slide down afew inches!!!!....
 Afew days ago,there were two baby blue jays hoping around the back yard here....They'd hop some and flap ,hop some and flap!!!A raccoon with a broken right hand has been coming around for the past few nights....(kinda glad he waits till after supper and I'm in watching tv till he comes around)
